Biography

Ericka has more than 20 years of experience advising on infrastructure and mobility projects across both public and private sectors. Her practice focuses on the legal design, structuring, and execution of concessions involving highways, railways, and airports. She offers end-to-end guidance on public-private partnerships, procurement strategies, and regulatory compliance, supporting complex infrastructure initiatives from concept to operation.

She regularly counsels public agencies and private developers on the legal frameworks governing infrastructure delivery, with particular emphasis on contract structuring, risk allocation, and performance monitoring. Her work spans the preparation of bidding documents, negotiation of agreements, and alignment with applicable legal and contractual standards.

Drawing on her experience in both the public and private sectors, Ericka combines deep regulatory knowledge with strategic legal insight to deliver solutions tailored to each project’s technical and operational needs. Her multidisciplinary perspective allows her to anticipate legal and commercial challenges, helping clients advance long-term infrastructure projects with clarity and confidence.

Before joining Rivera García, Ericka held senior legal positions in government and the private sector, advising federal agencies, fiduciary entities, and project sponsors across the transportation and infrastructure sectors. She also served as in-house counsel for multinational companies with operations in Mexico and Latin America.
